Our Menuki are museum-quality reproductions of original Menuki obtained from collections throughout the United States and Japan.
With the exception of the Steel Tiger Menuki (# 08), the metal used to produce our Menuki is solid SILVER which is either decorated with 24K Gold plate, blackened, lightly highlighted or a combination of all of the above to help illustrate the fine details that the original artist intended.
The GOLD PLATING on many of our Menuki is a layer of pure 24K GOLD electronically applied (Gold plating) and should not to be confused with Gold colored paint being used by others in the business.
