Our Menuki are museum-quality reproductions of original Menuki obtained from collections throughout the United States and Japan.

With the exception of the Steel Tiger Menuki (# 08) all Menuki are made of solid Silver and are either Gold plated, blackened, lightly highlighted or a combination of all of the above to help illustrate the fine details that the original artist intended. 

The Gold plating on many of our Menuki is a heavy layer of pure 24K GOLD that was  electronically applied (Gold plating) and is not to be confused with Gold colored paint which is frequently used in the industry.
