Our Menuki are museum-quality reproductions of original Menuki obtained from collections throughout the United States and Japan and all of our Menuki are produced at our Portland shop.

Without exception, All OF OUR Menuki ARE MADE OF SOLID SILVER and are decorated with 24K Gold (pure Gold plated), blackened or lightly highlighted or a combination of all of the above to reveal the fine details that the original artist intended. 

The GOLD PLATING on many of our Menuki is a layer of pure 24K GOLD electronically applied and should not be confused with Gold colored paint being offered by others.
