Design A (above) is available in Black
only.. This design has the two 'uprights' secured to the 'horizontal plate'.
( Note: Flat head screws are provided to
secure the uprights).
A MON of your choice can be added at no additional cost.

Design B (below) is available in Black color only. It
is 'free standing' as it can be easily assembled and
disassembled and function without the need for glue in the joints. A MON can
be also added at no cost.
Our Katanakake were introduced in 1998 and were available for $250. Manufacturing has
been discontinued and the remaining and very limited inventory is on 'sale'.
The remaining inventory will soon be gone and when they
are sold out, they will not be reordered. (First come, first serve).
Each of the sword stands are made of solid Philippine mahogany and finished
with black glossy lacquer . The style with
no bar across the top (A) is perhaps the most common design and is available in
both black and a rustic RED lacquer.
Both Katanakake can be easily disassembled for travel.
Fred owned the original models for only a short time before he realized that
although they were used only to display his swords, he received many offers
from others
to buy them. He immediately recognized the sales potential
and had them duplicated.
